Nestled deep in the jungle of the Yucatan Peninsula near the ancient ruins of Coba, is the Coqui Coqui Perfumeria, residence and spa created by visionary Nicolas Malleville. According to legend, Franciscan monks created perfumes from flowers, woods, and herbs in the Yucatan Peninsula after the Spanish Conquistadors arrived in Mexico in the 16th century. The exotic fragrances were created for the Spanish Empire over a period of nearly 300 years. These scents inspired perfumer Nicolas Malleville to found the Coqui Coqui Perfumeria in 2003. His goal was to recover the monks' formulas and combine them with ancient Mayan medicine.

Coqui Coqui fragrances evoke the lush tropical landscape of the Yucatan Peninsula, transporting the wearer to a care-free world of swaying coco trees, and salty warm breezes. Synonymous with tropical, rustic luxury, this collection of home & body fragrances have been created using exotic plants.
