Crafted from compact yarn, the outer fabric reveals a distinct horizontal rib in a grosgrain weave. The material is finished with the traditional Omisarashi process, a slow kneading technique that enhances the hand feel and imparts a soft, natural texture. Sulfur dyeing lends a subtle tone and depth, creating a refined, lived-in finish.

The removable inner vest is woven from a three-tone check, twisted from three different colored threads to achieve a wool tweed-like appearance. Brushed for added softness, it carries a gentle volume and warmth.

Inspired by vintage hunting jackets, this Pas de Calais interpretation features large gusseted pockets, a roomy interior pocket that extends to the hem, and underarm vents for comfort and movement. The checked inner vest includes oversized pockets and can be worn independently for versatile styling.
