We've had an obsession with kimonos for as long as we can remember, so we always try to keep a few stocked on our site. Kimonos are the ultimate bohemian luxe statement piece. We love them at the beach as a cover-up, or just lounging with coffee on Sunday mornings. Wear it over a slip dress for a romantic dinner or over a tank and denim cut-offs for a casual look.

For those of you who share our obsession, it's probably no surprise that our hands down favorite brand has to be Spell & the Gypsy Collective. They design the most beautiful kimonos in various prints. They are highly collectible and seem to retain their value in the second hand market, which really speaks to their heirloom quality.  

These images are from our spring 2018 editorial on Oahu. We decided to stray away from the beach and get down in the jungle. These photos remind us a bit of one of our favorite films, House of Flying Daggers. Needless to say we are thrilled with how this shoot turned out.
