Nomade is a hidden gem in the Riviera Maya. A secluded paradise located on the far south end of Tulum. Beautiful, rustic decor combined with first class amenities and dining make this the destination hotel in Tulum. We had the chance to stay here for a few days this past August for a birthday trip. The beautiful grounds of this property provide one Instagram-worthy photo after another.
With a pristine white sand beach and a lush tropical landscape you truly feel away from everything. Enjoy a margarita on a shaded lounge at the beach and all worries fade away. Nomade's friendly staff is always a few steps away and they kept the cool beverages flowing all afternoon. We especially enjoyed having lunch on the beach. This was a birthday trip after all. There's nothing better than relaxing on the beach with margaritas, ice cold cervezas, shrimp tacos and guacamole. We spent our first two days doing just that and only ventured outside of the resort for dinner. We loved visting their sister property, Be Tulum, located next door. Be Tulum is quite special and offers private plunge pools. We plan on trying it out next time we visit.
Located far down Hwy 15 it might be a trek to get to some of the more popular restaurants in Tulum but cabs are cheap and plentiful...or you can take advantage of Nomade's complimentary bikes. Our favorite way to travel. We tried out Posada Margherita for dinner one night, a romantic little Italian restaurant on the beach that came highly recommended. We loved the ambiance and the food was amazing. We opted for a cab since it was located on the other end of town. Another restaurant we LOVED was called Arca, a beautiful outdoor space with an amazing jungle atmosphere and the best spicy margaritas of the trip. We still talk about this place and cannot wait to return.
We loved starting our day with breakfast every morning in this beautiful spot shown above and don't miss dinner on the beach under the stars. It's amazing!
