Care instructions: Gold vermeil is a layer of gold over sterling silver and requires special care. Harsh chemicals can cause permanent discoloration. Avoid wearing your necklace in chlorinated pools or hot tubs. Avoid chemical cleaners that may strip the gold finish. Remove necklace before bathing, spraying perfume, applying lotion or sunscreen. Store in an airtight container while not in use to prevent discoloration.
